Lim Seong-seong and Lee Jung-seong, a new life in Southeast Asia
In MBN's 'Scoop World' broadcast on the 9th, Lim Seong-eun's current status was revealed. Lim Seong-eun, who debuted as the main vocalist of the group Young Tucks Club in 1996 and suddenly left the group a year later, was living the life of a CEO who runs a large spa of about 2,000 pyeong with about 40 employees on Boracay Island in the Philippines. Seong-eun Lim revealed the reason why he left Youngtucks Club and settled in Boracay. He said, "I became a scout and received the payment well. But the other members asked me to come talk to them because they didn't receive the payment properly. The kids said they weren't receiving the payment properly, so I hesitated to ask what was going on, and what did they say? “I just screamed, ‘What’s wrong?’” he recalled. He then confessed, "It felt like the sky was falling. I held on for 6 or 7 months, but I couldn't. I couldn't breathe and felt like I was going to die. They were going around cursing me and calling me a bad X who was revealing money." Afterwards, he re-debuted as a solo singer, but due to his continued decline, he ended up choosing to go to Boracay. It's my 17th year living in Boracay. Seong-eun Lim even built a three-story house. There were still traces of her ex-husband in Im Seong-eun’s house.
Im Seong-eun married her ex-husband, who was a diving instructor, after dating for 1 year and 6 months, but revealed the reason for their divorce. After two years of marriage, marital conflict began over money issues. Seong-eun Lim said of her ex-husband, "I spent money so crazy that I thought he was possessed by a ghost who died because I couldn't spend money. I spent 15 million won in two weeks." He added, "This friend needed money to get a divorce, so I gave him a lot of money. Then I divorced him." “I got a seal,” he confessed.
Seong-eun Lim lives in the Philippines but supports her mother in Korea. On this day's broadcast, Lim Seong-i returned to Korea after hearing the news that her mother, who had been suffering from Parkinson's disease for several years, was injured, and was also depicted heading to the hospital with her mother.
Suwan Lee quit his job as a reenactor and home shopping show host in Korea and started a coffee business in Vietnam in 2019. Lee Jung-seong also revealed his ultra-luxurious home in Da Nang, Vietnam. He expressed satisfaction, saying, "It's a nice apartment. I was living in a more simple place, but I thought, 'Life should be fun' and 'I should be rewarded a lot,' so I moved. I like the swimming pool." He also joked, "It's great, but they say they're going to raise the house price. The monthly rent is 1 million won. They said they're going to raise the monthly rent, so I'm going to move to a better place. I'm pissed."
Suwan Lee also revealed the cafe’s average monthly sales. It is said that before the pandemic, it was around $250,000 (approximately 326 million won) per month, or $3 million (approximately 3.9 billion won) per year.
When asked, 'Do you miss being an actor?' Lee Soo-wan said, "The title 'Surprise Girl' was a part of me. To be honest, I don't really think of myself as an actor these days. I'm not acting, and I don't know when I'll be able to act again. “I think it would be very difficult for me if I thought, ‘I am an actor.’ It would be nice if God allowed me the opportunity to act again, but even if I don’t, I don’t want to be unhappy,” he confessed.
As a cafe owner, Suwan Lee said, "My dream is to become a boss who pays his employees a lot of money and lets them leave work early. I don't like receiving tips. I want to pay a lot of money for the hard work I do." Suwan Lee also expressed his desire to start a chain business in Korea.
