ATBO appointed as public relations ambassador for Korea Forest Love Youth Group

On the 21st, the Korea Forest Love Youth Group announced, “ATBO has been appointed as a public relations ambassador for the Korea Forest Love Youth Group in 2023.” Previously, on the 20th, ATBO attended the appointment ceremony for the Korea Forest Love Youth Promotional Ambassadors held at the Forest Science Museum of the National Institute of Forest Science in Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul.
At the appointment ceremony on this day, Ryu Jun-min, whose birthday is Arbor Day on April 5th among ATBO members, spoke on behalf of the ATBO member. Ryu Jun-min said, “First of all, we would like to thank the Korea Forest Love Youth Group for appointing ATBO as an ambassador for the Korea Forest Love Youth Group. “I think it’s even more meaningful because my birthday is April 5th, which is Arbor Day,” he said.
He continued, “The whole world is concerned about the climate crisis, and I think we should all pay a lot of attention to forests, which are one way to solve it. “It is an honor to be able to work together as a public relations ambassador for the Korea Forest Love Youth Group, which thinks and puts into practice for this purpose, and ATBO also wants to work together to inform many people about the importance of the natural environment,” he said, raising expectations for the actions he will show as a public relations ambassador. .
The Korea Forest Love Youth Group said, “ATBO expects to have a positive influence on youth by actively delivering environmental protection messages through various official channels of the Korea Forest Love Youth Group, such as newsletters, SNS, and website.”
The Korea Forest Love Youth Group is a special corporation established in accordance with Article 16 of the Forest Education Act to foster a correct understanding of forests and the spirit of forest love among youth. It has trained over 760,000 members over the 34 years since its establishment in 1989. In particular, to protect the forest environment and respond to the climate crisis, we are nurturing the next generation of leaders through various educational training and volunteer activities such as Forest Love School, carbon neutral tree planting, and plogging challenge.
