Lee Seung-gi, Lee Da-in, can't go on honeymoon
Singer and actor Lee Seung-gi (36) decided not to go on a honeymoon with actress Lee Da-in (real name Lee Joo-hee, 30) ahead of his wedding on the 7th.
According to Ten Asia's exclusive report on the 5th, Lee Seung-gi and Lee Da-in, who are scheduled to get married on the 7th, decided to focus on their careers instead of going on a once-in-a-lifetime honeymoon.
An official told Ten Asia, "After Lee Seung-gi and Lee Da-in get married, they plan to return to their jobs right away without a honeymoon."
Lee Seung-gi will hold the 2023 Lee Seung-gi Asia Tour Concert 'Boy, Walking on the Road - Chapter 2' at the Link Art Center Payco Hall in Jongno-gu, Seoul from May 4th to 7th. Following the Seoul performance, Lee Seung-gi plans to spend special time with fans by continuing to perform in Tokyo on May 12, Osaka on May 14, Taipei on May 21, and Manila on May 27.
Lee Da-in is in the midst of filming MBC's new drama 'Lovers'. It depicts the love between lovers against the backdrop of the Manchu War. In 'Lovers', Lee Da-in played the role of Gyeong Eun-ae, Nam Yeon-jun's fiancée and Yoo Gil-chae's closest friend. Gyeong Eun-ae is a virtuous and compassionate woman who maintains her faith in love and life.
Lee Seung-gi and Lee Da-in will tie the knot at the Grand Intercontinental Seoul Parnas in Gangnam-gu, Seoul at 6 p.m. on the 7th. Actor Son Ji-chang, who has a close relationship with Lee Seung-gi's mother-in-law and Lee Da-in's mother, actress Gyeon Mi-ri, took charge of the wedding. Yoo Jae-seok will emcee and Lee Jeok will sing the congratulatory song. There is no officiating.
Lee Seung-gi and Lee Da-in, who acknowledged their relationship in 2021, announced their marriage in February. Lee Seung-gi said through his fan cafe, "I have decided to spend the rest of my life with Lee Da-in, whom I love, as a couple rather than a lover. Now that I have someone to take responsibility for for the rest of my life, I wanted to share this news with a happy heart. I look forward to the future of the two of you." “I hope you support me, and I will continue to share more and live happily.”
