Actress Won Jin-ah mentioned Yoo In-chon, Park Hae-soo, and Park Eun-seok, who co-starred in the play 'Faust'.

Won Jin-ah met with Ten Asia at the LG Arts Center Seoul in Gangseo-gu, Seoul on April 6 and told various stories related to the play 'Faust'.

'Faust', which opened on March 31, is a reinterpretation of the play completed over 60 years by the great German writer Johann Wolfgang von Goethe. Through Faust's imperfect actions and choices, direction and inspiration for an imperfect life are presented.

Won Jin-ah plays Gretchen in the original cast. Gretchen falls in love with the young Faust whom she meets by chance. He faces a crisis that puts his entire family and himself in danger.

Won Jin-ah joins seniors Yoo In-chon, Park Hae-soo, and Park Eun-seok in 'Faust'. He said, "I feel like a baby. I learned what to eat before the performance and how to speak. Just like being a newborn, there was nothing I didn't have to learn. When I first came to the practice room, I was impatient so I came an hour and a half early, but my seniors came first. So, I felt like I lost something.”

He continued, "I thought many of my seniors were working this hard too. I learned a lot about posture while watching them. I couldn't take my eyes off Teacher Yu In-chon's speaking skills, delivery skills, and technical skills. The content of 'Faust' was difficult to read in a book. "The moment I said it out loud as a teacher, I could hear it well. “I thought I should learn the skills and skills built up within me in a positive way,” he added.

Won Jin-ah said, "Senior Eun-seok seemed to be a person who enjoyed being on stage. I learned how to confidently believe in himself and perform coolly, stage manners, etc. I also learned a lot about posture from senior Hae- soo. I thought he could use his body so flexibly. I learned a lot while practicing. What surprised me was that he did it in a variety of ways, but it was different every day. Every time he practiced, he did it differently. The movements became positive and the sources came out. Even though I thought he was done now, he was improving. I learned a lot about flexibility. I also now have a certain line set and can make changes. “I have a desire to give. ,” he said with a smile.

Since it was my first play, I must have been worried. However, Yoo In-chon, Park Hae-soo, and Park Eun-seok did not spare praise for Won Jin-ah. Won Jin-ah said, "What they first said to me was, 'You have a lot of energy' and 'You are not average.' It's okay to show off when you're tired and tired, but the fact that you don't feel tired and enjoy participating in the first practice process is a big advantage in itself." He said, “He did it.”

He also said, "Because I've never been on stage before, that's also an advantage. I need moments where I have to use my real emotions, not things that express emotions, momentary words, or calculated gestures that are ingrained in my body. . That's my unique strength as Gretchen. “The most people who said they thought it might be the case,” he said.

Won Jin-ah said, "I'm trying to diet. If it's good for my throat, I'm eating it well. I'm eating everything, including honey and propolis. She told me that my vocal cords are muscles, so they need to generate heat. I'm trying to keep my body warm." “I go to my seniors' rooms and ask them, 'What are you eating?' and I get them one by one,” he joked.

Recently, actors Bang Min-ah and Lee Jae-in from the girl group Girl's Day, who are members of the same agency as Won Jin-ah, watched the performance. Won Jin-ah said, "Because Min-ah had performed once, she was very worried and concerned about her physical strength, saying that it would be difficult for her as the original cast. When her acquaintances and colleagues saw my performance, they said , 'I'm glad you performed,' and 'You made a good choice.' “I told you,” he said.

Not only that, he said, "I was restrained in the work and acted without deviating from the character, but I should say that it was a character with a different intensity, a side that was not shown. It was nice to be able to see that. It was refreshing to see something that I couldn't see in movies, dramas, etc., released on my own in the performance." “I told him a lot that I did a good job because he seemed to have a good sense of it,” he said.

Meanwhile, the play 'Faust' starring Won Jin-ah will be performed until April 29.
