Jeong Cheol-seung accused of sexual harassment

Attorney Jeong Cheol-seung, founding representative of United Artists Agency (UAA), was accused of sexual harassment.

On the 10th, Newsis reported that a complaint was filed at the Seocho Police Station charging lawyer Jeong Cheol-seung with indecent assault.

Attorney Jeong Cheol-seung is accused of forcibly assaulting a junior female lawyer, Ms. A, at a wine bar in Seocho-gu, Seoul on the 27th of last month. Mr. A claimed that lawyer Jeong Cheol-seung touched his body and wrapped his hands and waist while drinking.

Mr. A later demanded an apology, but lawyer Jeong Cheol-seung is completely denying the charges. Currently, Mr. A is receiving psychiatric treatment.

Attorney Jeong Cheol-seung is the founder of UAA, which includes Song Hye-kyo and Yoo Ah-in. He served as an executive director and CEO until 2014.
