Uhm Jung-hwa returns to the small screen after 6 years

Actress Uhm Jung-hwa revealed the reason why she appeared in ‘Doctor Cha Jeong-sook’.

On the afternoon of the 13th, a production presentation for JTBC's new Saturday-Sunday drama 'Doctor Cha Jeong-sook' was held at Chosun Palace Gangnam, Seoul. Director Kim Dae-jin, Uhm Jeong-hwa, Kim Byeong-cheol, Myung Se-bin, and Min Woo-hyuk attended.

‘Doctor Cha Jeong-sook’ depicts the life of Cha Jeong-sook, who went from a housewife of 20 years to a first-year resident.

Uhm Jung-hwa said, "I have wanted to see a good drama for a long time. I always want to be an actor on set. Whether voluntarily or unwillingly, the longer I am away, the more I look forward to the work."

He continued, "I really wanted to do a medical drama. As I read the script, I sympathized with Jeong-sook's story because it was similar to my life. It was my first drama in a long time, so every moment was precious and it is a drama I love."

‘Doctor Cha Jeong-sook’ will be aired for the first time on the 15th at 10:30 PM.
