‘Hyemi-ri Yechae-pa’ was popular with the MZ generation

'Hyemi-ri Yechae-pa' (directed by Lee Tae-kyung) is an entertainment show that depicts the complicated household lives of Hyemi-ri Yechae-pa, who struggle to settle down comfortably in a remote mountainous area. It stands out in the OTT (online video service) content rankings and is on the rise.
In particular, as a result of Korea Research's compilation of SVOD viewing content rankings from April 17th to 23rd, 'Hyemiri Yechaepa' ranked first among age groups 15 to 29 years old with a usage rate of 2.5%. Korea Research's KOI (Korea OTT Index) survey can be said to be a meaningful record in that it collected information on Netflix, Wave, TVING, Watcha, Disney+, Amazon Prime, WiTV, and iQiyi apps.
'Hyemi-ri Yechae-pa' is consistently ranked among popular content on major OTTs such as TVING, Netflix, and Watcha. OTT, YouTube video clips, and communities, which can be considered indicators of the young generation, are already receiving such a warm response that there is even talk of season 2, raising even more expectations for future broadcast developments along with the members' growing chemistry.
An unfinished team battle will take place in the 9th episode of ‘Hyemi-ri Yechae-pa’, which will be aired on the 7th. In the recently released preview for episode 9, a kiosk message saying "500 cash will be deducted" appears, drawing attention as the members are suspicious of each other. Finally, Hyeri called the members together and said, “Everyone from ‘Hyemi-ri Yechaepa’ should gather together.”
It is even more interesting in that it is an extension of last week's team match. In the 8th broadcast, the team was divided into Hyemi-ri (Hyeri Mi-yeon, Ri-jeong) vs. Ye Chae-pa (Choi Yena, Kim Chae-won, Patricia) and the 'Four Rule Arithmetic Yut Play' quest was held. While there was a tense battle of nerves more than ever before over a dining out gift certificate, the direction of the winner or loser was not revealed, raising curiosity.
