'Idol Singles 3' contestant Cho Ye-young is taking legal action.

Cho Ye-young said on the 3rd, "Content that is different from the actual facts has been distributed to the media, and legal procedures are in progress to correct the facts. I will explain in detail when the results come out."

Cho Ye-young appeared on MBN's 'Idol Singles 3' in September last year. He developed a real-life relationship with co-star Han Jeong-min, but they broke up.

Meanwhile, in March of this year, a YouTuber claimed that Cho Ye-young borrowed 4 million won after meeting twice with a male fan who expressed interest in her. He then said that when he asked for financial repayment, he did not respond and blocked social media.

Cho Ye-young apologized in a handwritten apology, saying, "It is true that I blocked SNS, but it was not my intention to not pay back the money. Mr. A put a burden on me." He also said, "I would like to say that I am sorry without any excuses. Recently, the family business has become difficult, and as a result, the situation has continued to be difficult for the entire family. In order to solve the problem, I have asked for help in many ways, and in the process, I have not been able to think carefully and act. “It’s done,” he said.
