EXO Kai’s ‘last greeting’ before enlistment
On the 9th, Kai met with fans at Yes24 Live Hall in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul. The fan meeting that day was held for free. In a video broadcast live together, Kai said, "Before I left, I asked the fans because I really wanted to see them, and thanks to the company's hard work, I was able to meet them as a good opportunity."
He also directly revealed the concept of the fan meeting. He said, “It’s ‘Kai’s Archive.’ When you archive, you save something. Today, I will briefly save my time in my archive.”
Also, after playing several games, he expressed his sincerity, saying, "I am grateful that you took the time to come even though the fan meeting was held suddenly."
Kai also revealed his feelings before enlisting. He said, "I will do my best to remember today," and "What would I do if I regret, resent, and feel sad? I will come back soon and run like crazy."
The situation is such that EXO cannot participate in activities together as a whole. It was Kai who expressed regret. He said, “EXO was also preparing hard, but I cried because I was a little disappointed,” and “I cry because of my passion and effort in preparing.”
He also said, "Only you are always on my mind. I will be practicing and thinking about what kind of great appearance I will show in the next two years and what kind of good time I will have, so please wait."
He added, "Thanks to you all, I gained energy. I almost shed a few tears, but I insisted. I'm really grateful and I love you. Of course, I have to go. Of course, I'm so sad that I won't be able to see you, but I have a lot of time left when I come back, so I'm not worried."
He also predicted that he would shave his head before enlisting. Kai announced, "I haven't shaved my head since elementary school. I'll shave it tomorrow. Even that's fine. I'll look cool. I'll send you a picture."
Kai will enlist in the military on the 11th. After completing basic military training at the Army Training Center, you will work as a social worker instead.
