Johnny Depp signs the largest contract ever with Company D

According to the American media Variety on the 13th (local time), Company D signed a $20 million (KRW 26.9 billion) contract with Johnny Depp for perfume. This is the largest contract ever.
Johnny Depp maintained his relationship with Company D despite his legal battle with his ex-wife Amber Heard. Sources believe that Johnny Depp and Company D have a three-year contract worth more than $20 million. In particular, it surpassed the contracts of Robert Pattinson (Company D, $12 million) and Brad Pitt (Company C, $7 million).
Johnny Depp took issue with Amber Heard's contribution to a newspaper in December 2018, in which she wrote that she had suffered domestic violence, and claimed that Amber Heard had defamed him. The two have been engaged in a six-week legal battle since April.
As a result of the trial, Amber Heard must pay Johnny Depp $10 million in damages (about KRW 12.5 billion) and $5 million in punitive damages (about KRW 6.2 billion). Judge Penny Azkarat reduced the compensation to $350,000 (approximately 400 million won) according to the legal limit. The compensation that Amber Heard must pay to Johnny Depp is $10.35 million (about 13 billion won).
The results of Amber Heard's countersuit against Johnny Depp were also released. The jury ordered Johnny Depp to pay $2 million in damages to Amber Heard. Amber Heard agreed to end her defamation lawsuit against Johnny Depp by paying him 1.3 billion won in damages.
