‘Queen of the Mask’ Shin Eun-jung, a tense psychological battle of revenge
‘Queen of the Mask’ captivated the small screen with its intense psychological warfare of revenge and deception.

In the 7th episode of Channel A's Monday-Tuesday drama 'Queen of Mask', which aired on the night of the 15th, the revenge cooperation between Do Jae-i (played by Kim Sun-ah) and Go Yoo-na (played by Oh Yoon-ah) began to cause division, making viewers sweat.

On this day's broadcast, Jae-yi and the police stormed into the basement of the orphanage where the Angels Club's secret meeting was held. However, contrary to Jay's expectations, the orphanage children's mask dance 'Angel's Arrow' was being performed.

Song Je-hyeok (played by Lee Jeong-jin), who knew through police sources that Jae-yi would attack, gave Jae-yi a mask and taunted him to perform a mask dance together, inciting the anger of the onlookers.

Je-hyuk caused a rift between Jae-yi and Yuna, who had begun to collaborate in revenge, and Jae-i became suspicious of her relationship with Je-hyuk when the information about the Angels Club given by Yuna was incorrect. Jehyuk, who learned of Yuna's purpose, declared that he would not show his daughter to Yuna, creating a tense atmosphere.

Meanwhile, Je-hyeok took Yoo-jeong to Cheon-rang Orphanage, where Rep. Ki Yun-cheol's (played by Kwon Tae-won) 'Press conference commemorating the launch of the Prayer Scholarship Foundation' was held. However, Chairman Kang Il-gu (played by Song Young-chang), who was unaware of the presence of Yoo-jeong and Je-hyeok, who met the father of his ex-fiancé, also showed signs of discomfort.

Je-hyeok also ran an election campaign by stealing the spotlight from Yun-cheol, who was holding a press conference saying that he had established a foundation to commemorate his dead son in the world.

Jae-yi, who appeared at the press conference with Yuna just in time, decided to check out the orphanage while Je-hyeok and Yun-cheol were holding the press conference. Jae-yi took refuge in the women's dormitory to avoid the eyes of Secretary Choi (Kim Young-jun), who was following him, and noticed strange behavior among the children there.

Joo Yoo-jeong (played by Shin Eun-jeong), who found out that her daughter Nana's biological mother was Yuna, was shaken by a sense of betrayal. Yoo Jeong said to Yuna who appeared at the press conference, “I will not break up my precious family because of the past. He left behind meaningful words, “I will protect you no matter what happens,” and disappeared.

Meanwhile, Yun-cheol said that he would give freedom to Yu-na, who was a wanted person, and begged her to give him the mask, Je-hyeok's weak point. Yuna visited Jae-yi's lawyer's office to discuss matters related to Yun-cheol, and there, Yu-jeong cried and asked her to be on her side, saying, "I'm always on your side. I captured Jae-i comforting him by saying, “I’ve never not been on your side.”

Yuna, thinking that Jae-yi had betrayed her, went to the restaurant of Choi Kang-hoo (played by Oh Ji-ho), where Je-hyeok's mask was hidden. After asking Kang-hoo to buy some medicine, Yu-na found a whiskey locker with Jae-yi's name written on it, but instead of a mask, she found a note that said, 'Why do you need a mask?', which gave viewers goosebumps.

Yu-na, who drank whiskey in anger, pretended to be drunk when Kang-hu returned and asked him to take her to the hotel. At the same time, she told Jae-yi to come to the hotel because she would tell him why he needed the mask.

It was also revealed that Jehyeok filmed everything that happened in room 2401 on the night Gidosik died with a video camera. In addition, the plot twist ending, in which Do-sik takes out a memory card containing the truth of the incident from a secretly installed camera after Je-hyeok runs away, raised explosive curiosity about the next story.
