Yang Hyun-suk reunites with Han Seo-hee in 'Entertainment Place Relationship'
Yang Hyun-suk, former general producer of YG Entertainment, will reunite with former idol trainee Han Seo-hee, who is alleging conciliation and intimidation in the B.I drug case.

On the 24th, at the hearing of the Seoul High Court, the second trial of the appeal trial will be held for former CEO Yang Hyun-suk's violation of the Act on Aggravated Punishment for Specific Crimes (retaliation threats, etc.).

Former CEO Yang Hyun-suk is accused of conciliating and threatening Han Seo-hee, who was a public interest informant, in connection with the allegations that B.I, a member of YG's group icon, bought and inhaled drugs in 2016.

At the time, Han Seo-hee claimed that former CEO Yang Hyun-suk said, "Killing you alone is not a job." Regarding this, former CEO Yang Hyun-suk said, "In case of Han Seo-hee, I've known her at an entertainment establishment for several years. However, the prosecution asked for three years in prison, saying it was 'obvious intimidation' in the first trial.

The court sentenced former CEO Yang Hyun-suk to be 'not guilty' despite the prosecution's request. The judge said, "In order to be punished for threats of retaliation or coercion, reversal must be made while the victim's freedom of speech is suppressed out of fear due to the defendant's actions. It has not been proven," he said.

In response, the prosecution filed an appeal on the grounds of 'the court's legal interpretation error', and held the first trial on the 12th.

Former CEO Yang Hyun-suk resigned from all positions at YG Entertainment due to the Burning Sun scandal involving Seungri, a former member of Big Bang, and suspicions of covering up the B.I drug scandal. He returned after being acquitted in the first trial. Currently, she is directing the entire production process for the girl group Baby Monster.
