Lee Seon-hee, embezzlement suspicion police investigation

Singer Lee Sun-hee (59) is suspected of embezzlement.

On the morning of the 25th, the Severe Crime Investigation Department of the National Investigation Headquarters of the National Police Agency called Seon-hee Lee and is investigating the suspicion of embezzlement of company funds.

The police have been investigating Lee Seon-hee with the circumstances that she embezzled company funds several times while serving as the CEO of entertainment agency One Entertainment.

Lee Seon-hee founded One Entertainment in 2013 and served as CEO until June of last year. Lee Seon-hee, the police, was asked to focus on whether the agency had misrepresented employees and improperly misused the company's funds, and while serving as CEO, Lee Sun-hee did not directly participate in the management of the company."

In this regard, Lee Sun-hee's agency, Hook Entertainment, acknowledged that "a police investigation was conducted in relation to the company where Lee Sun-hee was the CEO" and said, "Lee Sun-hee will diligently participate in the investigation and actively clarify the relevant facts."

At the same time, he added, "We ask that there be no damage to Lee Sun-hee's reputation with unconfirmed content."
