If the opposing instructor designated as the perpetrator threatens to accuse the student of a pretext such as defamation or adultery, and puts such a pretext to a student who is worried about it, considerable effort is required to take legal action, and people with money and power are powerless. Third, I have never forwarded emails or asked for opinions from Instructor A, who was identified as the perpetrator.
