"More fun than any thriller"... El → Jin Seo-yeon 'Happy Battle', a bloody battle between 'K-Moms' unfolds

On the afternoon of the 31st, the ENA 'Battle of Happiness' production presentation was held at the Stanford Hotel in Mapo-gu, Seoul. Actors Lee El, Jin Seo-yeon, Cha Ye-ryun, Park Hyo-joo, Woo Jeong-won, and director Kim Yun-cheol attended.

'Battle of Happiness' depicts a fight between one who is trying to hide a secret and one who is trying to reveal it after one of the mothers who competed for happiness on social media died mysteriously.

The subject matter of fighting among upper-class women and finding the culprit has been dealt with in several works. In particular, director Kim Yun-chul's previous film, 'Woman of Dignity' is also a story about finding the culprit. What is the difference between 'Happiness Battle'? "It's a completely different work," said Director Kim.

He added, "You can think deeply about 'what is family'. If you watch it, you will know that it is not a light genre. It is fun and serious because it contains various aspects of our current lives."

The combination of actresses EL, Jin Seo-yeon, Cha Ye-ryun, Park Hyo-joo, and Woo Jeong-won was also mentioned. Director Kim said, "I was casted like this because I was looking for actors who were pretty and good at acting."

EL takes on the role of Jang Mi-ho, who lives a dry life and gets swept away by the SNS 'happy battle'. EL, who is the opposite of her usual personality and character, said, "I am a person who enjoys a noisy atmosphere. That's why I long for people who are a bit calmer."

Jin Seo-yeon appears as Song Jung-ah, a self-made CEO who is responsible for all of her family in the play. He said, "I clashed a lot with the education in 'Battle of Happiness'. Forming a community and gathering around is completely different from my education. I hope children grow up digging and eating dirt in the countryside." It was fun to watch,” he said.

Cha Ye-ryun played Kim Na-young, an influencer who likes to show off her husband's love on social media. Cha Ye-ryun, whose children are actually attending an English kindergarten, joked, "In the play, mothers' jealousy and incidents appear, but I'm not like that."
