Baek Ji-yeon, former announcer, married Chung Mong-won, chairman of HL Group

On the 2nd, Kang In-chan, the only son of former announcer Baek, and Jung Ji-soo, the second daughter of Chairman Chung, made a 100-year marriage at a church in Jongno-gu, Seoul.
The two have been dating for about two years, and it is known that they promised to get married after meeting both families at the end of last year. After graduating from a design college in the United States, Mr. Kang is currently working in a related industry. Mr. Jeong is working in the field of new business discovery at HL Group's US subsidiary.
On this day, announcer Baek Jeon is said to have greeted the guests wearing a light blue hanbok. About 700 family members and acquaintances of the bride and groom attended the wedding. Actors Park Sung-woong, Lee Jung-hyun, and Shin Ae-ra were also present.
Announcer Baek joined MBC in 1987 as an announcer. She also won the titles of first female anchor, youngest anchor, and longest serving female anchor at MBC News Desk. Since then, he has worked as a freelance host and appeared on YTN, SBS, and tvN.
Announcer Baek got married in 1995 and had a son, Kang, and divorced four years later. After remarrying in 2001, they divorced again six years later.
Chairman Chung Mong-won is the second son of the late honorary chairman Chung In-young of HL Group and the nephew of Hyundai Group chairman Chung Ju-young. He is a cousin of Chung Mong-koo, honorary chairman of Hyundai Motor Group. At the end of 1996, it took over HL Group and grew it into a company specializing in automobile parts, construction, and logistics.
