Moko ENT vs. Kim Hee-jae, the first hearing in the case of claiming damages of 640 million won
On the 6th, the first hearing date for the claim for damages filed by Mokoenti against singer Kim Hee-jae and his agency Green Snake E&M was held.

According to Barun Law Firm, the legal representative of Moko ENT, the issue of the trial on this day was whether or not the management contract and concert contract between Moko ENT and Green Snake E&M were canceled and whether or not the result was effective.

In February, MokoENT filed a lawsuit against singer Kim Hee-jae and his agency Green Snake E&M to compensate for damages of about 640 million won due to overseas management contracts and non-fulfillment of concert contracts.

Previously, Moko ENT signed a contract as a performance planner for Hee-jae Kim's second solo concert, which was scheduled to be held from July of last year, and in May 2021, it signed a contract with Hee-jae Kim as an exclusive overseas management agency.

Previously, the lawsuit for invalidation of the contract filed by Green Snake E&M against Moko ENT was presumed (the hearing date will be designated later) for the reason of this lawsuit for damages.

Attorney Young-seok Yoo of Barun law firm said, “The issue of whether or not to cancel the contract and its validity has already been contested in the lawsuit for invalidation of the contract, and most of the arguments of both sides have been settled.” The only thing remaining is the process for the plaintiff (MokoENT) to refute Green Snake E&M's claim and submit additional data, and it seems that the results will come out soon.”
Meanwhile, the trial is scheduled for the next hearing on August 24.
