Namgoong-min and Ahn Eun-jin start loving each other
MBC's new Friday-Saturday drama 'Lovers' (planned by Hong Seok-woo/directed by Kim Seong-yong, Cheon Su-jin/written by Hwang Jin-young) will be broadcast for the first time on August 4. 'Lovers' is a historical drama about the life force of people and the love of lovers who pass each other during the Byeongja Horan. Writer Hwang Jin-young of 'The Emperor's Daughter, Baek Su-hyang' and 'Rebel: Thief Who Stole the People' and director Kim Seong-yong of 'Black Sun' will work together to herald the birth of a masterpiece that connects the lineage of MBC's luxury historical dramas.
The biggest stem of the 'lovers' story is the love between Namgoong-min (played by Lee Jang-hyeon) and Ahn Eun-jin (played by Yoo Gil-chae), who can't be reached in the weather of war. In the filming stills released earlier, Namgoong-min showed a perfect aura and mellow eyes that made it hard to believe that it was a historical drama in 10 years.
