On July 11, IU was nominated by Sean and participated in the 2023 Ice Bucket Challenge. IU said, "I hope that the support and encouragement of many people will continue in the future. With that meaning, I will also participate in the donation challenge in the name of IUANA along with the Ice Bucket Challenge."

IU is known to have donated to the construction of a hospital during the 2018 challenge. The Ice Bucket Challenge is a movement that started in the United States in 2014 to raise interest in Lou Gehrig's disease and collect donations.

IU has always been at the forefront of donations under the name IUANA (a combination of IU and fan club Uaena). This year, he donated 250 million won on May 16, his birthday. 50 million won was donated to the Happiness Sharing Foundation, 100 million won to the Heart to Heart Foundation, and 50 million won each to the Korea Association of Single Mothers and Families and the Korea Vulnerable Elderly Support Foundation.

On July 17th, Lim Young-woong and his agency donated 200 million won to the Fruit of Love in the name of the fan club Heroic Generation to support heavy rain damage. Hero said, "I want to give comfort to those who have been affected by this heavy rain. I hope that it will help them quickly recover to their daily lives."

Following Lim Young-woong, the fan club Hero Age also joined in spreading good influence. The Heroic Age carried out voluntary fundraising activities to support the damage caused by the torrential rain, and donated 426 million won to organizations such as Lim Young-woong.

The donation activities of Lim Young-woong and Hero Age are currently in progress. In March 2020, 145 million won was donated to overcome Corona 19, and in August, about 890 million won was donated to support flood victims. Not stopping here, we raised 41 million won for the vulnerable in December 2021 and about 260 million won in March 2022 to recover from the East Coast forest fire. In addition, donations were made on Lim Young-woong's birthday.

On July 19, Jang Min-ho also donated 100 million won to the Social Welfare Community Chest under the name of his fan club Minho Special Forces. Jang Min-ho said, "I give deep condolences to the flood victims who suffered unfortunate damage from heavy rain, and I wish for a speedy recovery." Jang Min-ho's fan club is also sending warm hands to various places.

In the past, fans donated in the name of the artist, but these days, artists are joining the donation procession in the name of the fans. There are various ways to express love for fans, but it is worthy of applause for continuing warm steps with an emphasis on 'together' like Lim Young-woong, IU, and Jang Min-ho.
