IU Shares Childhood Memories and Makes Generous Donation on Children's Day
Singer and actress IU (real name Lee Ji-eun) celebrated Children's Day by sharing a glimpse of her childhood.

On May 5th, IU posted a video on her Instagram story with the caption, "Little Seong Hee-joo who couldn't stand losing since childhood."

The video features young IU dressed in pink, focused on a sports event. Despite moments where she seemed about to fall, she got back up and continued to run, capturing attention with her determination.

Seong Hee-joo is the character IU portrays in the ongoing MBC drama '21st Century Grand Lady.' In the show, Seong Hee-joo is depicted as someone who will stop at nothing to achieve her goals.

Meanwhile, IU marked Children's Day by donating 100 million KRW in her and her fandom's name. The donation was split equally between the Korea Child Welfare Association and the National Council of Child Welfare Centers.
