Choo Sung-hoon, Kim Jong-kook, and Daesung are set to bring laughter as they find themselves buried in hot sand, hinting at a major incident on the horizon.
SBS Plus's 'Real Men’s Travel Guide in Kyushu' has been receiving rave reviews for the dynamic chemistry between Choo Sung-hoon, Kim Jong-kook, and Daesung. The show achieved a remarkable milestone by surpassing 10 million views on related SNS reels within just two episodes. It also ranked 6th in the non-drama news section of the TV-OTT FUNdex by Good Data Corporation for the fourth week of April, proving its hot topic status.
In the upcoming third episode airing on May 5, Choo Sung-hoon, Kim Jong-kook, and Daesung head to Ibusuki, a unique resort area in Kagoshima known for its coexistence of volcanoes, hot springs, and the sea. The trio experiences the unique black sand bath, lying on the hot sand in yukatas. As the sand, reaching nearly 50 degrees, piles on them, they express their discomfort, saying, "This is serious. It's heavy," and "It's hot."
Daesung, noticing Kim Jong-kook's toes peeking out of the sand, warns, "We're 'no underwear' right now," leading to laughter as the men caution each other. The reason behind their warnings piques curiosity.
Additionally, the trio rides a Ferris wheel offering a panoramic view of Kagoshima. Kim Jong-kook, seeing Choo Sung-hoon and Daesung cramped on the opposite side, remarks, "Isn't this something you ride with a lover or family?" Despite the romantic setting, they engage in a non-romantic conversation, plotting a "strategy," sparking interest in their plans.
Daesung also transforms into a trainer for the increasingly stubborn 'Choo-side' Choo Sung-hoon, bringing humor. At a shopping mall, Choo Sung-hoon insists on waiting for dessert at a pop-up store, even as their nude Ferris wheel ride time approaches. Daesung, known as 'Daesung the Choo Sung-hoon Whisperer,' effortlessly persuades him, showcasing his impressive skills.
Meanwhile, the ever-positive youngest member Daesung shows a different side during 'Choo's drive.' Excited by the luxury car prepared by the production team for Choo Sung-hoon's dream, Daesung's expression changes drastically as he faces the sea breeze head-on in the backseat. His mechanical reaction, "It's good... so good," highlights his humorous luxury car experience.
The production team commented, "The 'tiger-trainer' chemistry between the 51-year-old Choo Sung-hoon and Daesung, who easily handles Choo's antics, is hilarious. Episode 3 is packed with laugh-out-loud moments perfect for families to enjoy together on the last night of the holiday. We hope for your anticipation."
Meanwhile, SBS Plus's 'Real Men’s Travel Guide in Kyushu' Episode 3 airs on May 5 at 8:40 PM.
