On the 27th, at the Ten Asia office in Chungjeong-ro, Seoul, we met with actor Jung Yi-chan, who is currently starring in the TV Chosun weekend drama 'Dr. Shin' directed by Lee Seung-hoon.
Jung Yi-chan takes on his first title role as Shin Joo-shin, a genius doctor and authority on brain surgery, who repeatedly performs brain surgeries centered around the character Momo, played by Baek Se-ra.
When asked, "If you could actually undergo a brain change, whose brain would you want to switch with?" Jung Yi-chan chose not a person, but an animal—specifically, a 17-year-old dog.
He explained, "I have two beloved pet dogs. One of them is a 17-year-old senior dog. As it ages, its eyesight seems to be deteriorating, and it's definitely changed. I want to know if it's in pain or what it wants," expressing his affection for his dog.
Jung Yi-chan added, "Even if it's just for five minutes, I would like to know the physical condition of my truly beloved pet. I want to understand what it's thinking."
Meanwhile, 'Dr. Shin' is a medical thriller melodrama about a genius doctor and the events that unfold after the woman he loves experiences an accidental incident.
