Actor Go Soo expressed his support for his children's potential acting careers on the latest episode of JTBC's 'Please Take Care of My Refrigerator'.
On the episode aired on the 3rd, actors Lee Jong-hyuk and Go Soo made guest appearances. Lee Jong-hyuk shared, "There was someone I wanted to see on 'Please Take Care of My Refrigerator', and it's not Kim Sung-joo," revealing his close friendship with the host. He added, "I wanted to see Ahn Jung-hwan. We were both on 'Dad! Where Are We Going?' and after filming, we had a drink together. He's a genuine person," expressing his admiration.
Lee Jong-hyuk humorously described Kim Sung-joo as "a great MC who works as much as he's paid, like a karaoke machine that plays songs when you insert coins," which brought laughter to the set.
In response, Kim Sung-joo jokingly revealed, "Lee Jong-hyuk was the most uncomfortable person on 'Dad! Where Are We Going?' He didn't do much as a dad, letting his son roam around looking for food while he slept. Despite not trying hard, he was very popular, which made me jealous."
Lee Jong-hyuk's two sons are following in his footsteps, aspiring to become actors. He proudly shared that his eldest son, Tak-soo, is attending Dongguk University, and his younger son, Joon-soo, is at Chung-Ang University, both majoring in acting.
Regarding his sons' career choices, Lee Jong-hyuk stated, "I didn't oppose it. I told them to give it a try. It's their life choice." Go Soo, a father of three, added, "My kids aren't interested in career paths yet, but if they want to become actors, I would support them," drawing attention.
In contrast, most chefs expressed opposition to their children becoming chefs. Chef Yoon Nam-no shared, "I strongly oppose it. Chefs work without holidays. I hope they live a normal life as office workers, resting when they can and eating meals regularly." Chef Choi Hyun-seok added, "Chefs stand every day in front of hot stoves," to which Ahn Jung-hwan humorously responded, "I run every day, rain or shine," highlighting the challenges of being a soccer player.
