Yano Shiho directly addressed the divorce rumors surrounding her and her husband, Choo Sung-hoon, on the latest episode of KBS 2TV's 'New Release Pyeonstorang'.
On the episode aired on the 1st, the ever-positive Yano Shiho invited singer Jang Yoon-jung to her home, where she served homemade Korean dishes.
During the show, Yano Shiho confronted the rampant 'fake news' online, stating, "There are rumors saying I've 'divorced'. Divorce and infidelity are sensitive issues," she emphasized, "I haven't divorced. He's right here," reaffirming her strong marital bond.
Jang Yoon-jung shared her own experience with rumors, saying, "We've had divorce rumors too. Recently, there was fake news about my death, claiming it was due to illness." She added, "I posted a clarification on social media to prevent friends from worrying, but I deleted it soon after because the memorial photo was upsetting. It's not good for mental health, especially as we're nearing menopause," she joked.
Yano Shiho and Jang Yoon-jung playfully tried to make their husbands jealous by sending them AI-generated photos of handsome boyfriends. However, their husbands' reactions were indifferent.
Choo Sung-hoon remarked, "His eyes look like Shiho's. Is he your fan? That's a lie," showing his trust without jealousy. Meanwhile, Do Kyung-wan humorously responded, "Wow, he's handsome. The kids want to eat instant noodles," adding a touch of reality to the situation.
Yano Shiho admitted that it's been a while since she said "I love you" or "I miss you," but she believes those words aren't necessary. "My husband is busy, and that's impressive. He's energized by his work," she expressed, showing her continued excitement even after 18 years of marriage.
When asked about her concerns as a wife and mother, Jang Yoon-jung revealed, "I've never been open about bodily functions in front of my husband or kids. I've never put my underwear in the washing machine. I hand wash them and dry them quietly in my room. I want to present a tidy image as a mother and wife." Her confession surprised many.
Yano Shiho, inspired, asked, "Can I start doing that too?" to which Jang Yoon-jung humorously replied, "Then they'll think you have a secret," sharing a laugh.
