Actress Lee Yoo-bi has announced her mission to shed her 'skinny' image by focusing on lower body workouts.
On the 30th, Lee Yoo-bi's YouTube channel featured a video titled 'Workout Complete! Eating Tuna Bibimbap and Lower Body Workout. The Long and Arduous Journey to Overcome Being Skinny.'
In the video, Lee Yoo-bi is seen eating homemade tuna bibimbap before her workout, stating, "I need to eat well before exercising." She added, "I saw a tuna bibimbap recipe a few days ago and decided I had to try it. I usually eat quite salty, so this is a bit bland for me," revealing her honest taste preferences.
Known for her '43kg' slender figure, Lee Yoo-bi shared, "I've been working out a lot lately. I realized my stamina had dropped significantly." She emphasized her physical transformation, saying, "My legs used to be really skinny, but now they've become much more solid."
Lee Yoo-bi stressed the importance of eating well before lower body workouts, saying, "You need energy. After working out, you should eat protein."
On her way to the gym, Lee Yoo-bi humorously remarked, "It feels like I'm walking into hell." She then began her intense lower body workout with her trainer.
Her trainer commented on her progress, saying, "She was almost in a wheelchair before, but now she's much healthier." Lee Yoo-bi responded, "Haven't I become much stronger? My butt has gotten bigger," expressing satisfaction with her physical changes.
Before starting calf exercises, Lee Yoo-bi joked, "After this, it's hell. If it's your first time, you might not be able to walk for 4-5 days." As she neared the end of her workout, she admitted, "My legs are getting harder to lift," but persevered to the end. After completing her final ab exercises, she looked in the mirror and smiled, saying, "My legs have really gotten stronger. I'm glad I worked out."
Previously, Lee Yoo-bi stated, "My goal is not to be skinny." She is actively working towards a healthy physique through consistent exercise and diet management.
Meanwhile, Lee Yoo-bi is the daughter of actress Kyeon Mi-ri and the sister of singer Lee Seung-gi's wife, Lee Da-in. She continues to engage in various projects, recently making a special appearance in the TVING original series 'Yumi's Cells Season 3.'
