Song Eun-yi and Kim Shin-young Address Rumors of Feud After 4 Years

TV personalities Song Eun-yi and Kim Shin-young have candidly addressed rumors of a feud after four years.

On the October 30th episode of KBS2's variety show 'Problem Child in House,' Kim Shin-young appeared as a guest.

Returning to the show after 8 years, Kim Shin-young was welcomed by Kim Sook, who asked, "How does it feel to be back?" Kim Jong-kook also greeted her warmly, saying, "You look so much happier."

When Hong Jin-kyung inquired about her recent experiences, Kim Shin-young humorously shared, "I used to think 'I shouldn't eat,' but now I've let go of that. I don't get swayed by small things anymore. If I get really upset? I just eat chocolate," eliciting laughter.

Kim Shin-young then addressed the rumors of a feud with Song Eun-yi. Having been an artist under Song Eun-yi's agency, she reunited with Song on a variety show after four years.

Kim Shin-young revealed, "There were many comments and questions from people around me. The most absurd rumor was that women usually fight by pulling hair, but there was even talk that we had a fistfight. It was upsetting, but I couldn't deny it for fear of misunderstanding."

Song Eun-yi added, "We used to be together almost every day, always having fun, so when we weren't seen together, people might have thought something was wrong."

They also discussed the four-year hiatus and the failed contract renewal. Song Eun-yi explained, "When Shin-young declared her independence and didn't renew her contract, people assumed we had fought."

Kim Shin-young shared her reasons for not renewing, saying, "I wanted to pursue what I wanted to do. I told my senior that I wanted to see her as a senior for a long time."

Song Eun-yi candidly expressed, "Honestly, I felt a bit sad, though I'm not sure if it was disappointment. It was a confusing time, wondering what to do after being like family. But as time passed, I understood what Shin-young meant by wanting to see me for a long time. It wasn't entirely cool, but there was a sense of sadness."
