Lee Dae-hwi Reflects on Changing Etiquette in the K-pop Industry

Lee Dae-hwi, known for his roles in groups Wanna One and AB6IX, expressed his disappointment over the changing etiquette in the K-pop industry.

On the September 29th episode of MBC's 'Radio Star,' Lee Dae-hwi shared, "I often tell my juniors to greet others properly. Nowadays, it seems different," hinting at the shift in atmosphere.

He continued, "I want to befriend my juniors, but no one visits my waiting room. In the past, we would personally greet others and give CDs, but now I find myself approaching juniors first."

Lee Dae-hwi pointed out, "The culture of visiting PDs to greet them has diminished. I wish it would come back. I still want to go and greet them."

Reflecting on his time with Wanna One, Lee Dae-hwi shared how senior artists influenced his current attitude. "I debuted at 17, very young, and was only getting seven hours of sleep a week. During a pre-recording for a music show, I wished it was the last recording because I was so tired," he recalled. His seniors advised him, "You shouldn't think that way. Be grateful for the stage," which prompted him to change his mindset.
