Actress Park Jung-soo has shared the story behind building a structure in Apgujeong for her husband, director Jung Eul-young.
On the 29th, the YouTube channel 'Can't Stop Park Jung-soo' released a video titled 'The Real Reason Park Jung-soo Built a Building in Apgujeong?' In the video, Park Jung-soo visits Jung Eul-young's office located in Apgujeong, Gangnam, Seoul, for a YouTube shoot. The production team expressed admiration, saying, "You can see the Galleria from here," to which Park Jung-soo proudly responded, "This is the Galleria view."
During the visit, Park Jung-soo was seen cleaning up dust and trash around the office, expressing her distaste for the mess, "I can't stand it being this dirty. Everything needs to be in order." When the production team commented, "Director Jung Eul-young must have a hard time too, even if the dust isn't that visible," she humorously retorted, "There's sand here. You guys must have brought it in," showcasing her quick wit.
When the production team pointed out, "This isn't a home, is it?" Park Jung-soo explained, "Originally, I built this office for my husband to work in. That was back in 2011." She added, "But as soon as it was built, he stopped working. Instead of working here, he makes alcohol," expressing her dissatisfaction humorously.
She continued, "Sometimes, I come here to read scripts or books when I want to calm my mind," but added, "My husband had piled up books, so I cleared them all out." Park Jung-soo also mentioned, "Whether it's an officetel or a country house, it's good to have a space where you can mentally relax if you have the means. Especially for men, such a space is needed after retirement."
Previously, on the 21st, Park Jung-soo shared on her YouTube channel, "Jung Eul-young PD is only good at directing. I married him because I was fooled by that," adding, "I thought we wouldn't fight if we lived together, but we've been fighting all along," showcasing their real-life couple chemistry.
Meanwhile, Park Jung-soo and Jung Eul-young have been in a common-law marriage for over 20 years. Director Jung Eul-young is known as the father of actor Jung Kyung-ho and has made a name for himself by directing dramas like 'My Man's Woman' and 'Childless Comfort.'
