Lee Ji-hyun, a former member of the group Jewelry, has announced her new career as a hair stylist and shared an in-depth look at her scalp condition.

On the 29th, Lee Ji-hyun took to her social media to post, "I received care for the first time today, and the before & after is quite clear, right?" along with several photos and videos.

The video showcased Lee Ji-hyun using a scalp massager to achieve voluminous hair, highlighting her hair care routine. The video caption read, "It's too wasteful not to do this when it improves so much in just one session. Especially in this era of living to 100."

On this day, she revealed her scalp condition and underwent a scalp spa and scaling treatment. Lee Ji-hyun candidly admitted, "My scalp has a mixture of white keratin and sebum around the pores."

She mentioned the causes of her scalp issues, including "frequent dyeing, UV exposure, stress, lack of sleep, and aging," expressing her frustration. Lee Ji-hyun emphasized, "Care is the answer. You can see how clean my scalp looks after just one treatment," while also promoting her salon.

Previously, on the 19th, Lee Ji-hyun shared her excitement by revealing the interior of the salon where she will be working. She passed the national hairdresser qualification exam and completed a hair designer training course at a major salon franchise academy last year.

Lee Ji-hyun debuted with the group Jewelry in 2001 and, after two divorces, is currently raising a son and daughter on her own. She began pursuing the national hairdresser qualification exam in November 2023 and succeeded in obtaining her license after six attempts, transitioning to a career as a hair stylist.
