PLAVE Makes Impressive Debut on Billboard Charts with 'Caligo Pt.2'

K-pop group PLAVE has made a significant impact on the global music scene by entering the US Billboard charts.

According to the Billboard charts released on the 28th local time, PLAVE's fourth mini-album 'Caligo Pt.2' debuted at number 145 on the Billboard 200 chart dated May 2nd.

Additionally, PLAVE has made its mark on another major chart, the 'Billboard Artist 100', debuting at number 75, showcasing their growing influence as artists.

On the 'Billboard Global (Excl. US)' chart, several tracks from the album, including the title track 'Born Savage', as well as 'I Think So', 'Heung Heung Heung', and 'Borrow This Night to Tell You', have simultaneously entered the chart. Furthermore, PLAVE achieved notable rankings on other Billboard charts, such as number 2 on the 'Emerging Artists' chart and strong performance on the 'Top Album Sales' chart, reflecting their global appeal.

This success is also mirrored by their popularity in South Korea. Upon its release on the 13th, the album quickly climbed to number 2 on the Melon TOP100 chart, and according to Hanteo Chart, it sold over 1.25 million copies in its first week, setting a new personal best for the group.

'Caligo Pt.2' is a continuation of the narrative from 'Caligo Pt.1', released in February last year. The album concludes one storyline while hinting at new possibilities within a more intense universe. It showcases an expanded musical spectrum and matured charm through a variety of genres.

Last November, PLAVE successfully completed their debut Asia tour, 'DASH: Quantum Leap Encore', selling out the Gocheok Sky Dome. The group continues to expand their reach beyond South Korea, growing their presence on the global stage.
