Veteran actor Choi Bul-am, affectionately known as the 'Nation's Father,' recently made an appearance looking noticeably thinner, bringing tears to the eyes of fellow actress Chae Si-ra.
MBC released the second teaser for 'Paha, Choi Bul-am' on their official YouTube channel on the 27th. The teaser highlights Choi's somewhat frail appearance and the poignant reactions of his fellow actors, capturing the audience's attention.
In particular, Chae Si-ra is seen gazing intently at the now slender Choi Bul-am, eventually shedding tears. Following her, actors Jung Kyung-ho and Lee Kye-in also appear with somber expressions, sparking curiosity about the heartfelt stories they will share with the beloved actor.
'Paha, Choi Bul-am' is a documentary celebrating Choi Bul-am, who is cherished as the 'Nation's Father,' in honor of Family Month in May. After stepping down from KBS's 'Korean Table' in March 2025, Choi faced rumors about his health but has now returned to the screen after a long hiatus.
The documentary 'Paha, Choi Bul-am' is set to premiere on May 5th at 9 PM.
