On the October 27th episode of TV Chosun's variety show 'Joseon's Love Matchmaker,' Lee Sang-mi was seen meeting the CEO of a shoe company with an annual revenue of 50 billion KRW (approximately 500 million USD) at the Gimpo Ara Waterway yacht dock.
The businessman made his entrance at the yacht dock, leaving Lee Sang-mi surprised as she was guided onto a yacht for their first meeting. She expressed, "At first, I wondered why he invited me to such a place, but the scenery was beautiful, and it felt refreshing and healing. It was a unique and fresh date experience."
The hosts of the show commented on the businessman's appearance, describing him as having a "wealthy aura" and "good impression." He shared his challenging past and success story with Lee Sang-mi and even gifted her a pair of shoes.
Lee Sang-mi admitted, "Initially, I was a bit disappointed because I have a clear ideal type, but after hearing his life story, I realized that personality and success can make someone appear different, regardless of looks."
The businessman revealed that he has been divorced for 20 years. Lee Sang-mi asked, "Do you feel fully prepared emotionally and financially to meet someone new?" He replied, "I have several boats, horses, and even a villa in Jeju Island. I've had everything I wanted, except for a woman. It was very lonely."
Lee Sang-mi appreciated the continuous conversation and the businessman's attentive listening. She noted, "At first, I was worried because he was quiet. I never mentioned my preferences, but it felt like he was aligning with my style. He listened and paid attention to me, which I really liked."
