UV's Yoo Se-yoon Reveals Behind-the-Scenes of Sold-Out Coin Karaoke Concert

Yoo Se-yoon, a member of the group UV, has unveiled the story behind his sold-out solo concert at a coin karaoke venue. Despite the small scale of the concert, he drew attention by preparing security and even restricted-view seats.

On the YouTube channel 'Jjanhanyoung Shin Dong-yup,' a video titled 'UV Yoo Se-yoon Muzi [Jjanhanyoung EP.142] The Return of the Learned Perverts' was posted on the 27th. The duo UV, consisting of comedian Yoo Se-yoon and singer Muzi, appeared as guests, showcasing their witty banter alongside Shin Dong-yup and Jung Ho-chul.

During the broadcast, the behind-the-scenes story of Yoo Se-yoon's 'Coin Karaoke Solo Concert' was revealed. Yoo Se-yoon shared that he wanted to perform solo but had fears about attracting an audience due to past experiences with empty seats. Thus, he decided to start small by choosing a coin karaoke venue as the concert hall.

The concert took place in a group room at the coin karaoke that could accommodate up to six people. It sold out immediately upon ticket release. Yoo Se-yoon confessed, "I wanted to experience a 'sell-out' at least once, so I pre-made a 'sold-out' announcement image even before the concert sold out."

For the concert's safety, Yoo Se-yoon placed a security guard at the karaoke room's entrance. He also humorously designated a section where attendees could only see his back while he sang as 'restricted-view seats,' selling these tickets for 20,000 won, 10,000 won cheaper than the regular price.

Yoo Se-yoon announced, "Since this coin karaoke concert sold out, the encore will be at a regular karaoke, and then we'll gradually increase the scale to a live cafe." He added, "If the next concert doesn't sell out, we'll scale it back down."
