On the 26th, Studio C1's variety show 'Flaming Baseball 2' released its second teaser video on its official social media channels, ahead of its premiere on November 4th.
In the teaser, Director Kim Sung-geun humorously reacts to General Manager Jang Si-won's comment about having over 200 applicants by saying, "I want to leave." He then intently watches videos of applicants like Lee Dae-ho, Song Seung-jun, Kim Jae-ho, Jung Geun-woo, and Dustin Nippert, who have impressive careers in professional teams, creating a tense atmosphere.
As the rigorous selection process continues, Director Kim focuses on the performance of new faces. He meticulously reviews the applicants' profiles, asking questions like "Are you a college student?" and "Are you a sidearm pitcher?" in his quest to discover hidden gems. He even remarked, "It's less stressful than being at home," and announced that he would continue the evaluation the next day, keeping the production team on edge.
According to the production team, this selection process was so lengthy that it was dubbed the longest evaluation in the world. The repeated review of applicants' videos by Director Kim, along with captions like 'A time-traveling journey with the unexpected baseball god,' added to the viewing pleasure.
Director Kim reviewed videos of applicants for each position, including pitchers, infielders, and catchers, sometimes shaking his head in critical evaluation. After watching all the videos, he said, "Let's start again from pitcher number one," astonishing the production team.
Interest is growing in who will be the stars to open the grand stage of 'Flaming Baseball 2' after Director Kim's sharp evaluations. The players joining 'Flaming Baseball 2' can be seen on May 4th at 8 PM on StudioC1's official YouTube channel.
Meanwhile, the Seoul Central District Court accepted an injunction filed by JTBC against Studio C1 last December, prohibiting the production, sale, and distribution of 'Flaming Baseball'. Despite this, the production of season 2 continues, sparking controversy.
