Korean TV Personality Seo Jang-hoon Offers Advice to Married Man Facing Unwanted Advances

Korean TV personality Seo Jang-hoon offered advice to a married man facing unwanted advances.

On the October 27th episode of KBS Joy's 'Ask Anything', a 38-year-old married man appeared seeking advice on how to handle persistent advances from women despite his marital status.

The man, who has an impressive background as a Special Forces officer for 11 years and a firefighter for 4 years, is currently working as a home shopping host. Married for six years with a five-year-old son, he shared, "Even though they know I'm married, women keep approaching me," and expressed his dilemma on how to set boundaries.

Seo Jang-hoon responded with, "That's a happy problem," while Lee Soo-geun humorously commented on the man's looks and career, saying, "It's inevitable."

The man also shared his past dating experiences. In his mid-20s, he discovered that his girlfriend of two years was cheating, which led to trust issues and a series of short relationships. He eventually met his current wife, attracted by her 'tough girl' persona, and married her after just three months of dating.

He revealed that he was quite popular during his school days, often receiving gifts and notes on his desk. Even in college, he drew attention wearing his ROTC uniform, and he still frequently receives advances from young women when out.

Seo Jang-hoon complimented him, saying, "You have the style of a modern idol group leader," and praised his looks as fitting today's standards.

The issue, however, is the excessive attention he receives even after marriage. He recounted an incident where he was inappropriately approached by a drunk female acquaintance late at night, and another where a work call led to a personal meeting suggestion. He also shared a shocking instance where a colleague hinted at an affair, saying, "Since we're both married, let's meet comfortably."

Seo Jang-hoon advised, "People seek connection because of human attraction," and suggested that such feelings can unconsciously lead to meetings. He emphasized the importance of setting boundaries, especially as a married man, by avoiding late-night calls or meetings. Lee Soo-geun added, "Your wife's 'tough girl' persona might have changed after childbirth," and stressed the importance of showing a more trustworthy side.

The 362nd episode of 'Ask Anything' aired on October 27th at 8 PM and is available for rewatch on major online platforms like YouTube and Facebook.
