Previously, in February, Jungkook faced criticism during a live broadcast on a fan communication platform. He was accused of being reckless after mentioning past smoking habits while intoxicated and making an inappropriate gesture by raising his middle finger to someone nearby.

Meanwhile, RM was recently embroiled in controversy over alleged smoking in a non-smoking area. According to the Japanese weekly magazine Shukan Bunshun, RM, who was in Japan for a concert at Tokyo Dome, was seen socializing with friends in the Shibuya area. He reportedly smoked multiple times in non-smoking zones and discarded cigarette butts on the ground.

BTS, which both Jungkook and RM are part of, is set to meet their international fans on the 28th at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, USA.
