Recently, a video was released on the YouTube channel 'Kim Sook TV' showcasing her car camping lifestyle. In the video, Kim Sook brought up the topic of her Jeju house, saying, "Did you hear the news?" She continued, "Our house has been excluded from the Jeju cultural heritage designated area. I was so shocked that I felt like I needed to go car camping."
The house in question is located in Seongeup Village, Jeju, and was purchased by Kim Sook in 2012. Initially, it was co-owned with Song Eun-yi, but after settling shares in 2017, Kim Sook became the sole owner.
The property had been unused for a long time, and its remodeling process is currently being showcased on the tvN variety show 'Unpredictable'.
Since the house was within a national heritage designated zone, any construction required approval following specific guidelines. The design was adjusted, and necessary procedures were followed before construction commenced.
The news came after the house repair process was revealed on 'Unpredictable', and most of the filming has been completed. It is reported that there will be no significant changes to the program.
Regarding the construction process, Kim Sook admitted, "There were countless times I wanted to quit. Honestly, even now, I feel like giving it all up." She added, "But seeing the changes brings me happiness and gratitude."
The show features Kim Sook, Song Eun-yi, Lee Chun-hee, Baekga, and Jang Woo-young working together on the house repairs, drawing significant interest as the project progresses through various stages.
