Uhm Hyun-kyung's character unleashes pent-up emotions amidst family conflicts.
In the upcoming 20th episode of KBS 1TV's daily drama 'Our Happy Days' (directed by Lee Jae-sang, written by Nam Sun-hye, produced by Monster Union, Saion Media, and Contents G), airing on the evening of the 24th, Jo Eun-ae (played by Uhm Hyun-kyung) crumbles under the weight of the wounds inflicted by her family.
Previously, Kang Yeon-ja (played by Kim Hye-ok) learned that she needed to donate 200 million won to secure her son Jo Eun-hyung's (played by Choi Sung-won) appointment as a professor. She pressured Jo Sung-joon (played by Sunwoo Jae-deok) to look into loans and retirement funds. However, Jo Eun-hyung had already decided to give up the position, stating that it couldn't be bought with money. In her desperation to not let her son miss the opportunity, Kang Yeon-ja turned to her daughter Jo Eun-ae, asking for the proceeds from the sale of 'Lucky Joy Tech.' Jo Eun-ae firmly refused, escalating the mother-daughter conflict to its peak.
As Jo Eun-ae rejects her mother's request, newly released stills ahead of the 24th broadcast show Jo Sung-joon comforting his daughter Jo Eun-ae, drawing attention. Jo Sung-joon represents Kang Yeon-ja's intentions while also soothing Jo Eun-ae's wounds, becoming a steadfast support for her.
However, an unexpected visitor at Jo Eun-ae's company casts a shadow over her life once again. Ultimately, Jo Eun-ae sheds tears in secret, and Go Kyul (played by Yoon Jong-hoon), who accidentally witnesses this, offers his own form of comfort. The focus is on whether Go Kyul's seemingly cold yet warm consolation can restore Jo Eun-ae's positive momentum.
Meanwhile, the 20th episode of KBS 1TV's 'Our Happy Days' airs on the evening of the 24th at 8:30 PM.
