Actor Seo Jun-young has taken his relationship with Jung Jae-kyung from a blind date to a budding romance.
On the 23rd episode of Channel A's 'Groom Class 2' (produced by Bae Han-soo and Lim Jeong-kyu), Seo Jun-young was seen visiting Channel A weathercaster Jung Jae-kyung near her workplace for an after-work date, confirming their deepening feelings.
The episode showcased Seo Jun-young visiting Jung Jae-kyung during her live weather report near Cheonggyecheon, close to the Channel A building. Watching her report with admiration, Seo Jun-young handed out homemade butter rice cakes and coffee to the crew after her work was done.
The two then enjoyed a break sitting by Cheonggyecheon, which Jung Jae-kyung described as her 'dream spot.' During this time, it was revealed that Seo Jun-young had surprised Jung Jae-kyung with a spontaneous dinner date on her birthday, bringing samgyetang and side dishes, showing that their meetings continued off-camera. A senior colleague of Jung Jae-kyung, who is a 'current journalist,' spotted them and directly asked Seo Jun-young what he liked about Jung Jae-kyung. Seo Jun-young candidly replied, "From the first moment, her eyes were kind, and I felt a certainty that I wanted to know her better."
After their Cheonggyecheon date, the couple moved to Ikseon-dong, a 'hot spot for dates.' They took 'four-cut photos' and exchanged glances before visiting a tarot reader. The tarot expert predicted, "The future card shows Seo Jun-young as a 'diligent husband material' and Jung Jae-kyung as 'wedding hall,' indicating a well-matched destiny. The final stop of their date was a 'night market restaurant' recommended by Jung Jae-kyung.
