In the photo, he is seen in a casual outfit with a tissue shaped like a tear on his cheek, displaying a playful expression. Despite the disappointment, he radiated his signature bright energy.
Along with the photo, Lee Do-jin wrote, "I believe this is not the end but a moment that signals a new beginning. I'm returning to the stage and daily life where I originally belonged, so I'm not sad. Each song I performed on 'The Unknown Legend' and the time and choices behind them have brought me here," he reflected. He continued, "I will keep moving forward. I will keep running. I will prove myself again with a stronger presence. I love you all. Please don't forget me," showing his sincere heart.
Lee Do-jin concluded his journey on the 9th episode of MBN's 'The Unknown Legend', which aired on the 22nd, after the third round of the 'National Song Contest'. He advanced to the finals in 8th place with a deeply emotional performance of Kim Yong-im's 'Hwal Hwal Hwal'.
During the 'TOP3 Sweet Guys' team stage, he showcased the charm of a sweet younger man. In the 1:1 death match, he delivered a performance of 'Today is a Young Day', blending humor and emotion, resonating with audiences across generations. Particularly in the third round of the National Song Contest, he left a strong impression with a Jang Yoon-jung medley, demonstrating teamwork and stage presence alongside Moon Eun-seok, Kim Tae-woong, Son Eun-seol, and Kim Han-yul, transcending age differences.
