Billlie Unveils Enchanting Video for '$ECRET no more' from Upcoming Album

K-pop group Billlie has released a captivating video for a track from their first full-length album.

On the 23rd, Billlie (members Siyoon, Sean, Tsuki, Moon Sua, Haram, Suhyeon, Haruna) shared the video for '$ECRET no more' from their album 'the collective soul and unconscious: chapter two' via their official social media channels.

The video, styled after 90s European dark fantasy animations, captures an ethereal atmosphere with abstract imagery that portrays a haunting beauty. In the video, Billlie confronts their inner selves amidst a chaotic unconscious, revealing their true identities. This artistic depiction shows the group embracing their hidden emotions and accepting themselves as they are, evolving into their complete selves.

The track '$ECRET no more' evokes memories of Billlie's debut album track 'everybody's got a $ECRET'. The group moves beyond the initial question of the 'key to secrets', exploring the liberation from their hidden unconscious and promising a narrative of growth and maturity.

The song features a unique blend of Tchaikovsky's 'Swan Lake' sampling and trap sounds, creating Billlie's signature classical style. Additionally, member Moon Sua contributed to the lyrics, enhancing the emotional depth and narrative completeness of the track.

Towards the end of the video, a new character related to Billlie's album narrative, 'Billlie & Lovers', is teased, sparking curiosity. Fans are eager to discover the identity of this character from Billlie's unconscious and anticipate the expanded 'Billlieverse'.

The full-length album 'the collective soul and unconscious: chapter two' is a continuation of their February 2022 mini-album 'the collective soul and unconscious: chapter one'. While the previous work dealt with the emergence of cracks, the new album tells a story of courage to delve into the depths of those cracks. Billlie aims to showcase their 'conceptual icon' persona by maintaining their artistic integrity and resilience in the face of external influences.

Billlie's first full-length album 'the collective soul and unconscious: chapter two' will be released on May 6th at 6 PM across various music platforms.
