ATEEZ's Mingi has taken the spotlight on the digital cover of Singles Magazine's May issue.
Having achieved significant milestones such as entering the Billboard charts, being the first K-pop boy group to perform at Coachella, hosting world tours, and sweeping awards at various ceremonies, ATEEZ announced their full group contract renewal last July. This photoshoot marks Mingi's first solo feature since the renewal. In an interview following the shoot, Mingi shared his candid thoughts.
Reflecting on their recent 'Adrenaline' activities, Mingi expressed, "I was thrilled that we could effectively convey the direction ATEEZ wanted to show to the public." He credited the 'team' as the driving force behind their intense performances, stating, "When I see my members dancing with all their might on stage, I strive to do my best to not let the team down."
Mingi also shared his clear philosophy about the team. He emphasized, "Our team knows each other so well. For the team to succeed, individuals must exist, and by supporting each other, ATEEZ has become what it is today." Regarding the full group contract renewal, he stated, "If the past seven years were about experiencing the fever of youth and continuously challenging ourselves, the next seven years will be about truly showcasing ATEEZ at greater heights."
In closing, Mingi conveyed his heartfelt message to fans, saying, "I hope that through ATEEZ's music, each person's life improves even a little. When our fans are happy, I am happy too."
