Fueled by Yunho Yunho's fighting spirit, the '2 Days & 1 Night' team advanced to the third stage on their first attempt. However, they failed to pass even the first stage on their second and third tries, and on the fourth attempt, they were halted at the final fifth stage, leaving them at risk of going without dinner.
Determined, the '2 Days & 1 Night' team made it to the fourth stage on their last attempt, edging closer to the 'West Coast Crab Feast.' Yet, their bold attempt at the fifth stage ended in failure, and they ultimately secured no food. Thanks to Yunho Yunho and Kang Jae-jun's success in a redemption mission, the team managed to have a meal of rice and kimchi, lifting their spirits as they headed to the sleeping game location.
The sleeping game involved finding alphabet cushions hidden inside dozens of vehicles within 15 minutes without being caught on CCTV, in a mission called 'Vehicle Escape Number One.' The '2 Days & 1 Night' team split into two groups: the 'Hyung Line' (Kim Jong-min, Moon Se-yoon, Kang Jae-jun) and the 'Dongsaeng Line' (Yunho Yunho, Lee Jun, DinDin), quickly searching the vehicles for the cushions.
The 'Dongsaeng Line' showcased their energy by finding almost all the cushions, completing the word with about 30 seconds to spare, marking an exciting end to the sleeping game. Despite this, the '2 Days & 1 Night' team was caught on CCTV four times, resulting in four members having to sleep outdoors.
In the draw, Kim Jong-min, Moon Se-yoon, Yunho Yunho, and DinDin were chosen for outdoor sleeping, while Kang Jae-jun and Lee Jun slept indoors. Lee Jun, paired with the 'snoring champion' Kang Jae-jun, expressed disappointment despite being indoors.
Thanks to Yunho Yunho, the '2 Days & 1 Night' team woke up early and moved to different locations to write the name of the person they felt closest to during the trip on their palms. When they regrouped, they revealed the names, resulting in successful pairings of Kang Jae-jun-Lee Jun and Yunho Yunho-DinDin, who enjoyed an early departure.
Meanwhile, Kim Jong-min and Moon Se-yoon, who failed to match, were tasked with climbing Mt. Ami, the highest mountain in Dangjin, as a penalty. Moon Se-yoon subtly suggested Yunho Yunho join them, and after a moment of hesitation, Yunho Yunho enthusiastically agreed, saying, "Let's go all the way!"
Despite the other members' attempts to dissuade him, Yunho Yunho insisted on finishing what he started, displaying his unwavering passion. Kang Jae-jun expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to film '2 Days & 1 Night' thanks to Seon-ho, saying, "It was an honor to participate in a show I love. I'll come running whenever you call."
Accompanied by Kim Jong-min and Moon Se-yoon, Yunho Yunho headed to Mt. Ami, sharing motivational quotes like "To climb the next mountain, you must come down," and "The remaining path is shorter than the way back," as they began their ascent.
