The popular group I.O.I is set to make a comeback on May 19.
On the 21st, Swing Entertainment announced, "I.O.I (comprising Lim Na-young, Chungha, Kim Se-jeong, Jung Chae-yeon, Kim So-hye, Yoo Yeon-jung, Choi Yoo-jung, Kim Do-yeon, and Jeon So-mi) will release their third mini-album 'I.O.I : LOOP' on May 19."
Alongside this announcement, the official SNS released a promotional scheduler image for 'I.O.I : LOOP', heightening fans' excitement. The image, tinged with a soft pink hue, is packed with the group's comeback schedule, raising anticipation.
According to the scheduler, I.O.I will kick off their promotions on the 22nd with a mood film, followed by concept photos, a tracklist, an album preview, a music video teaser, and audio snippets, all unveiled sequentially.
Recently, I.O.I made headlines with the announcement of their '2026 I.O.I Concert Tour: LOOP'. During this promotion, they will also reveal the main poster for the concert, drawing attention. Additionally, I.O.I will engage with fans through a YouTube live session on May 4, coinciding with the pre-release of a new track, and will officially begin their comeback activities with the album release on May 19.
I.O.I was formed in 2016 through the Mnet show 'Produce 101', where they debuted in May of the same year. The group quickly gained popularity with hits like 'Very Very Very' and 'Downpour', before concluding their official activities with a concert in January 2017. Their reunion after nearly nine years has been met with overwhelming support and interest from long-awaiting fans.
In addition to the album release, I.O.I will celebrate their 10th anniversary with a variety of activities, including the '2026 I.O.I Concert Tour: LOOP' held at the Jamsil Indoor Stadium in Seoul from May 29 for three days.
