On the 20th, an online press conference was held for tvN's new weekend drama 'Secret Audit'. Attendees included actors Shin Hye-sun, Gong Myung, Kim Jae-wook, Hong Hwa-yeon, and director Lee Soo-hyun.
'Secret Audit' is a 'close-knit audit romance' that portrays the tense collaboration between charismatic audit manager Joo In-ah, who harbors a secret, and ace employee No Gi-jun, who is suddenly demoted to handle internal misconduct.
Regarding the charm of her character, Shin said, "While promotional terms like 'tough', 'audit manager', and 'youngest executive' are used, I felt In-ah had a soft side. As a company executive and leader, she always says the right things, yet people around her find her intimidating or feel hurt, making me wonder why she seems so tough."
Shin highlighted a viewing point, "In the beginning, you'll often see Gong Myung's expanded nostrils and mouth. It was really funny during monitoring. The size of his nostrils changes depending on his surprise or frustration. It might be fun to count how many times it happens in an episode."
He continued, "Jeon Jae-yeol is a character with a clear social position but not many lines. I had to express the character through expressions and atmosphere rather than dialogue. I thought a lot about how to portray a natural-born chaebol, and the staff's help with lighting and camera angles was significant. I was nervous at first, but I quickly adapted through monitoring."
'Secret Audit' premieres on the 25th at 9:10 PM.
