Lee Hae-ri of Davichi is set to appear as the fourth original singer on 'Hidden Singer 8', drawing a record number of audience members.
The fourth episode of JTBC's 'Hidden Singer 8' (planned by Hong Sang-hoon, directed by Shin Young-kwang), airing on the evening of the 21st at 8:50 PM, will feature Lee Hae-ri, the main vocalist of the trusted and beloved music powerhouse Davichi, as she delivers perfect harmonies with talented impersonators.
As soon as Lee Hae-ri steps onto the 'Hidden Singer 8' stage, the hidden panel erupts in cheers. Lee expresses her nervousness, saying, "I don't know if this will be the worst day or the best day," while host Jun Hyun-moo reassures her, noting that her episode has attracted the largest audience in the show's history.
With Lee Hae-ri as the original singer, her group member Kang Min-kyung joins the hidden panel to take on the challenge of identifying her voice. Before coming on 'Hidden Singer 8', Lee advised Kang to approach the show as if filming a documentary, emphasizing the importance of recognizing her voice. Kang Min-kyung declares, "If I can't identify her, we might as well disband Davichi," showing her determination to find Lee's voice.
However, in previous episodes, Brian from Fly to the Sky and Baekga and Kim Jong-min from Koyote made similar claims but failed to identify the voices. The question remains whether Kang Min-kyung can successfully pinpoint Lee Hae-ri's voice.
Former swimmer Park Tae-hwan, former fencer Kim Jun-ho, travel creator Kwak Tube, and chef Yoon Nam-no also confess to being avid fans of Lee Hae-ri, asserting that they cannot fail to recognize her voice. Park Tae-hwan, known for listening to music through headphones before swimming competitions, expresses his anticipation, saying, "Is there anyone in Korea who can imitate Lee Hae-ri?"
Davichi, known for their national sing-along hits like '8282', 'My Man', and 'Don't Say Goodbye', promises an exciting stage with Lee Hae-ri and the impersonators. The hidden panel joins in a sing-along as soon as the intro of '8282' plays. However, Jun Hyun-moo hints at a shocking voting result, raising curiosity about the impersonators' skills and whether Lee Hae-ri will survive the challenge.
