The love story of Son Ye-jin and Hyun Bin was unveiled on the recent episode of TV Chosun's 'Gourmet Heo Young-man's White Rice Journey'.
On the episode aired on the 19th, the show featured a special segment in Jeju with 'Golf Master' Lim Jin-han. Lim mentioned his star-studded lineup of students, including Son Ye-jin, Hyun Bin, Kim Hee-ae, Kim Sung-ryung, and Shin Dong-yup, drawing attention.
Particularly about Son Ye-jin, Lim boasted that through focused lessons, she improved from a beginner golfer to a skilled player.
Lim shared, "Before meeting me, Son Ye-jin had been playing golf for three years but never managed to get the ball airborne on the field. She even declared to her agency's CEO that she would quit golf."
The agency's CEO persuaded her, saying, "Three years in golf is significant," leading Son Ye-jin to request an introduction to Lim Jin-han. Heo Young-man humorously questioned how someone struggling with ground balls knew about Lim Jin-han.
Upon receiving the CEO's call, Lim recalled, "Son Ye-jin asked if I could meet her, so I made some time the next day. She showed up in jeans and slippers. After an hour-long lesson, she called to say, 'Today, half of my shots flew, and half rolled.'"
Lim praised her, saying, "You did really well. Just keep playing like that." Son Ye-jin, eager to continue lessons, asked, "What if you abandon me?" She also requested lessons for Hyun Bin, and Lim frequently joined them on the field.
Lim, who knew about Son Ye-jin and Hyun Bin's relationship before it was public, shared, "One day, my wife asked if the rumors about them dating and getting married were true. I denied it, saying people were jumping to conclusions. But 20 days later, they announced their marriage, and my wife called me a traitor."
Lim noted, "Son Ye-jin and Hyun Bin are a perfect match. Son Ye-jin has a laid-back, masculine style, while Hyun Bin is more reserved. They used to call each other 'Binnie' and 'Ye-jin' while dating, but now they use 'honey' and 'darling' after marriage. It's heartwarming to see."
Meanwhile, Son Ye-jin and Hyun Bin tied the knot in 2022 and have a son together.
