On the October 18th episode of MBC's variety show 'The Manager', the daily life of popular comedian Yang Sang-guk was showcased, revealing a different charm from his usual rustic character.
Yang showcased his taste for luxury with a neatly organized space, a rooftop with a great view, an expensive edition cola collection, and racing equipment including a simulator. His manager, Han Seung, who has been with him for 10 years through their shared interest in racing, even established a management company for Yang and completed professional training to fully support him. Han actively marketed Yang's rising popularity with the phrase, "Rising stock Sang-guk, buy low now!"
Another surprising aspect was Yang's passion for racing. At the circuit, he set aside his comedian persona and impressed with his intense focus. Supported by a major corporation for a decade, Yang has won the N2 class competition twice and plans to challenge the semi-pro N1 class this year.
Despite experiencing a major accident in the past that left him with a braking trauma, Yang's serious demeanor as a racer was evident as he sped in his new racing car. That evening, Yang hosted a housewarming party with his fellow 22nd class comedians, known as the golden generation, reminiscing about the late Park Ji-sun's genius comedic timing and capturing memorable group photos.
