Korean actress Jung Si-a recently shared a heartwarming story about how an April Fools' prank led to her daughter shedding tears.
On the 17th, Jung Si-a's YouTube channel 'Jung Si-a Asi Jeong' featured a video titled 'Jung Si-a's Semi-Forced Jeongdong-gil Date ♥ Let's Capture Today's SNS Life Shot (+April Fools' Third Child Story)'.
In the video, Jung Si-a and her husband Baek Do-bin went on a date in Jeongdong-gil. Baek Do-bin jokingly said, "I was summoned semi-forcibly. I'll try not to cause any inconvenience to the viewers," while Jung Si-a mentioned, "I've been busy following Jun-woo around," referring to their son who is growing as a basketball player.
While chatting at a cafe, Jung Si-a naturally brought up the April Fools' episode. She recalled, "I told Seo-woo on April Fools' Day that she was going to have a sibling, and she burst into tears."
The recording shared by Jung Si-a captured her daughter Seo-woo's shocked reaction. Seo-woo said, "I like things the way they are now. Are you serious about having another sibling? At this age? Isn't this like a story from the Bible?" expressing disbelief.
She continued, "Then I won't be loved. The second child doesn't get love," she said tearfully, evoking both laughter and sympathy from her parents. She added, "I said I didn't want a third sibling, but now I'm doomed," revealing her anxious feelings.
In response to their daughter's reaction, Baek Do-bin laughed, "I didn't expect her to be so flustered. It's cute." Jung Si-a added, "Seo-woo said she now understands a bit of her brother's feelings. She realized how difficult it must have been when he got a sibling. It turned out to be a good prank in the end."
Jung Si-a also mentioned her son Jun-woo, who is currently unable to play in basketball games, asking, "Is there a reason to stay with the team?" Baek Do-bin replied, "In team sports, the atmosphere and chemistry are important. Parents with children in elite sports might understand the struggles," adding with a playful look, "It's better to go together than alone."
Meanwhile, Jung Si-a married actor Baek Do-bin in 2009, and they have a son and a daughter. Their 16-year-old son Jun-woo is active as a basketball player, and their 13-year-old daughter Seo-woo is studying art at Yewon School.
