New Reality Show 'Tzuyang's Meals' Set to Premiere: A Unique Take on Mukbang Entertainment
ENA, Kstar, and NXT are teaming up to produce the new variety show 'Tzuyang's Meals,' set to premiere at the end of May. The show is drawing attention for its unique production style. Last year, Tzuyang, a YouTuber with over 13 million subscribers, made her first foray into regular TV entertainment with ENA's 'Unpredictable,' which unfortunately recorded a viewership rating in the 0% range. Now, a year later, Tzuyang is stepping into her first solo variety show with 'Tzuyang's Meals.'

'Tzuyang's Meals' is a new concept reality show featuring Tzuyang, who is evolving from a mukbang creator to an all-around entertainer. The show highlights the struggles of 'food assistants' tasked with serving a feast until Tzuyang is full.

The program originated from Tzuyang's confession that she often felt hungry during filming due to the constraints of television production. The production team has set the goal of 'Tzuyang being full' for the show.

Tzuyang is known for her impressive eating capacity, consuming 20 servings of pork belly or over 100 plates of sushi in one sitting. Her rapid digestion means she feels hungry again just 10 minutes after eating, showcasing her top-tier mukbang skills.

There is significant interest in the identity and role of the 'food assistants' responsible for ensuring Tzuyang is well-fed. The production team has carefully selected individuals familiar with or connected to the filming locations, both domestically and internationally, to ensure optimal arrangements.

The 'food assistants' will travel with Tzuyang to various domestic and international landmarks, responsible for spontaneously arranging meals at local restaurants that represent the area's cuisine. How these assistants adapt to Tzuyang's preference for eating smaller amounts at multiple locations rather than large quantities at one place will be a key point of interest.

The production team stated, "We wanted to introduce a new variety show by incorporating unpredictable situations within the broad framework of travel and mukbang. We aim to make the spontaneous situations and developments in unscripted reality the hallmark of 'Tzuyang's Meals.'"

The joint production by ENA, Kstar, and NXT, 'Tzuyang's Meals,' will premiere this May.
